The Egencia Preferred Rates Program Celebrates 10 Years of Delivering Added Hotel Value as it Reaches 10,000 Enrolled Properties

BELLEVUE, Wash., Sept. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Egencia®, the business travel company of the Expedia® group, is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Egencia Preferred Rates (EPR), a successful program which also recently reached the 10,000 mark for participating hotel properties.

Egencia has successfully brought the technology heritage, relentless focus on user experience and innovative spirit of its parent company Expedia, Inc. into the enterprise. In 2013, Egencia launched its new app, Egencia TripNavigator, which dramatically improves the in-trip experience for business travelers. The app provides step-by-step navigation and offers integrated access to Egencia Travel Consultants. Today, 10,000 companies worldwide partner with Egencia to drive travel compliance and cost savings.

The program began in 2004 as a key part of the Egencia hotel offering which includes nearly 200,000 properties worldwide. The EPR program allows Egencia to deliver hotels from the Expedia group network in a way that is customized for business travelers through a combination of special prices and value added perks.
