Expedia Expands its Australia and New Zealand Hotel Partnership Offering with Easy-To-Manage, Low-Cost Program for Small Regional Properties

Commission-based program complements existing Expedia merchant model program

The new program is a low-cost commission-based program modeled on the Expedia® Easy Manage program and customized specifically for the Australia and New Zealand markets. The new partnership option suits the needs of smaller regional properties in Australia and New Zealand, and complements the Expedia Special Rate merchant program options introduced in these markets last year.

Expedia Easy Manage enables small regional properties to access the convenience of Expedia’s easy sign-up and property assistance support and broad regional traveler reach, all with no registration fees and no fixed costs. In addition, the program offers hotels a set of straightforward online distribution tools for managing rates, inventory and content.


The introduction of the new model expands Expedia’s partner program options for hotels in Australia and New Zealand. Expedia launched a customized version of the Expedia Special Rate merchant model program for Australia and New Zealand hotels last year, offering hotels unmatched international exposure on Expedia and Hotels.com sites worldwide. The Expedia Special Rate program is designed to align hotel distribution and revenue management strategies and optimize RevPAR. Expedia Easy Manage is an alternative for properties whose size, location or other business characteristics don’t enable them to take full advantage of all the benefits Expedia Special Rate delivers.
