Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières
Expedia, Inc. is pleased to support the work of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), an international medical humanitarian organization working in more than 60 countries to assist people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe. Expedia and its employees support MSF by providing support for disaster relief efforts, such as the 2010 Pakistan floods.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®
Expedia.com has partnered with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® to support St. Jude's pioneering research and treatment of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Through participation in the St. Jude Thanks and Giving® campaign, an employee donation drive, and corporate matching donations, Expedia.com helps make it possible for St. Jude to ensure no child is ever denied treatment because of the family's inability to pay.
Local Community Engagement
Expedia, Inc. engages in a variety of charitable partnerships in the cities where our offices are located around the globe. We support local communities through employee volunteerism, non-profit board membership; community service days; drives to gather food, clothing and toys; and company grants to support local non-profit programs
Matching Gifts
Expedia, Inc. supports the causes its employees care about through its matching gift program. Employee contributions made to 501(c)(3) organizations and educational institutions are matched dollar for dollar, up to $3,000 annually for full-time and part-time employees worldwide.
